“We Are the Champions” – Jimmy Fallon with the Roots and Others

This is literally the cutest thing in the world. With celebrities Carrie Underwood, Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, One Direction, Christina Aguilera, Meghan Trainor, Usher and Blake Shelton along with the best, Jimmy Fallon and the Roots singing Queen’s “We Are the Champions”. It is probably one of the cutest videos I’ve ever seen. Carrie Underwood and Sam Smith’s voices sounded really good together. Even though they’re completely different genres in music, I think it would be really cool if they made a duet or just sang together. As well as Carrie’s voice being the best and beautiful as always. She sounded heavenly. They have pretty good harmonies with each other. Ariana and her whistle notes always rock. Blake Shelton’s little part was adorable and it made me laugh when Jimmy made a motion to make it look like he was flipping the screen from Blake’s solo to Usher.

I feel like the boys from One Direction should’ve had their own solo. I mean, c’mon, everybody would have loved to hear Zayn sing a high note in the song or any of the other boys. But what really got you into it was when Niall, Harry and then Liam started swinging along to the song and you couldn’t help but swing along with them and it made me laugh. Niall is cute as always and always makes these cute adorable faces when he’s singing and Harry looks like he’s trying to not burst out laughing along with Niall.

Zayn looked so happy it made me happy and Louis and Liam we’re just adorable and really wish I could hear their voices more in the song. Otherwise, it was very cute and funny if you need a good laugh or your having a bad day, you can watch this video. Jimmy Fallon is probably one of the best and my favorite comedians. Shawn Mendes – Thinking Out Loud (Ed Sheeran) cover

Oh my god this cover is literally heaven to my ears. Before I get into that though, let me tell you a little bit how I got to know Shawn. When I got tickets to Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour, I saw her opening acts were Vance Joy and Shawn Mendes. So I decided to check out Shawn on youtube and that’s where the magic happened. For those of you who don’t know, Shawn is a Canadian singer (with a very thick accent because at first I thought that he was Australian) and I thought “Well, whoever opens for Taylor must be really good.” (Because I have liked many of her opening acts before when I saw her live on her other tours) But anyways, Shawn tweeted this cover of Ed Sheeran’s song that he played on Sirius XM. When he started playing, it echoed throughout the place. Which I think really set the tone for the song. And his voice is literally perfect for that type of song. He cleared his throat a little bit after the first sentence, but that doesn’t really matter. The way he plays guitar is so magical and he hits the notes clearly. I think we all know Ed Sheeran’s song but I’m going to post both of them anyway. I still can’t get over how heavenly and magical Shawn’s voice sounds like. Shawn also has a first/new album that you can start pre-ording on Feburary 2nd. I’ll have a seperate post for Shawn’s own music later on.
