Well, to say this concert was a blast was an understatement. I absolutely had the time of my life last night. Though I haven’t been a fan of this band for that long, I knew every single word to every song they sang. I’ve been a fan of theirs for almost a year now and I’m so glad I got into their music because Brendon Urie (lead singer) is fucking amazing. I never danced so hard in my life and I almost lost my voice but I’m still good haha.
I got there a little bit before six and the merch line was soooo long. It was almost as long as when it was for Shawn Mendes. They let us in before six since the concert was sold out and they wanted to get people in and out as quickly as they could. I got merch on the second floor of the venue and even that line was long. Definitely wasn’t much longer as it was downstairs but I still got what I wanted (a black Panic! sweater and a tee shirt) and I’m still wearing those today as a matter of fact haha.) The sweater is so comfy and I definitely recommend getting one of them because it’s one of my favorite things I’ve ever owned.
Saint Motel went on at exactly at 7:00 which I was pretty surprised. (I was also surprised by how close I was because I didn’t think I would be that close to the one and only Brendon Urie for my first concert of his.) A little bit after their set, people started screaming towards one of the sections but then I realized later in the concert it was Noah from the Netflix original show, Stranger Things. He even sang with Brendon during La Devotee later in the set, it was so cute. They gave him a gold microphone like his and everything, it was adorable.
Misterwives came on around a little bit before 8ish. I’ve heard of their band before but never saw them live and I have to say, I was impressed. I would probably see them again live if they had their own concert in New York City. I mostly took pictures of the lead singer, Mandy Lee, because she was pretty awesome to take photos of. It was almost like I did a mini photoshoot of her without her even looking. Here are some of my favorite pics below:

Once their set was over, they started setting up for Panic’s! And I didn’t realize how big their stage set up was. They had a ten minute countdown and everyone was freaking out. (Including me of course) Their first song was Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time from their new album and I absolutely love that song so I didn’t get that much video of it since I was freaking out during that song.
In my opinion, I feel you have to know all the words to all of the songs Panic! At the Disco sing or else you wouldn’t have that much of a good time as me and thousands of other people will. Because I knew all of the songs they were singing, after almost every song I was like “This is my song!” then the next song plays and then I went “This is my song too!” (lol) Brendon really didn’t talk much during the set and pretty much went straight through with playing which I didn’t mind because I love when people just play through song after song after song.
One of my favorite parts of the concert was (Miss Jackson, Let’s Kill Tonight, Girls/Girls/Boys, Bohemian Rhapsody, I Write Sins Not Tragedies, Victorious… etc etc) was This Is Gospel when he went onto the B-Stage. The only thing annoying was that everyone behind me started standing up on their chairs (which usually isn’t allowed) but I said f-it I’m doing it anyway. So for the first time in my life, I actually stood on my chair during a concert and I felt like such a rebel haha. Nobody could stop us because everyone on the floor was doing the exact same thing and to ask people to do it during a very popular Panic! song which just get people mad to security probably decided to let it go during that song. Also, when he was walking towards the B-Stage, I couldn’t even see him and had no idea where he was but he probably went underneath the stage to go to it and walked back towards the main stage through the crowd. At my concert, he walked in the middle of seconds B and C (I was in C but on the other end of the isle so I couldn’t get a hug 😦 .) But I still got actually got pretty decent video so that’s this video below:
One of my other favorite parts of the concert was when Brendon did a drum solo to 24k Magic by Bruno Mars and Bitch Better Have My Money by Rihanna, it was pretty epic.
Brendon also did a cover of Billy Joel’s song Movin’ Out, which was actually pretty good in my opinion. Another one of my all time favorite parts was finally seeing them cover Bohemian Rhapsody live. I actually got a pretty decent video of it but my arms were so tired by that point, it got a little shaky but it was still pretty good. After seeing so many videos on youtube of them covering that song (since it’s my favorite thing ever), I was so happy when I finally got to see it live. When they first started singing the first note of it, everyone in the audience started going nuts. Here’s the video if it below:
And near the end of the concert, they sang I Write Sins Not Tragedies and Victorious. What made me die of laughter was when Brendon said (as he was introducing IWSNT), he said “This is a new one, I hope you like it.” But then the first notes of the song start to play and everyone started singing along. My Aunt was so confused but afterwards I told her it was just a joke because it’s from their first album and absolutely everyone knows that song. What made it even funnier to me was that I was watching a video of them singing that song live on Youtube and Brendon said the exact same thing in that video. And he let the crowd sing part of the beginning of the song and since he’s so sick of the song, he let’s everyone sing “But the poor grooms bride is a whore!” Then he said “You said it not me.” I was laughing and screaming at the same time because I thought it was the funniest thing ever.
I was said when Victorious started playing because it was the last song and I didn’t want the night to end. Brendon hit that high note of course and I sort of fangirled when he held his hands together because he does it all the time because it’s like a fifteen second high note or something like that. His high notes blew me away last night and they were even higher than my grades (haha…. joke of the year). I’m still listening to Panic! At the Disco the next day because I always want to remember that concert and how amazing, loud and fun it was. I would definitely recommend going to one of their concerts but just make sure you know all the words to the songs first, especially if your a new Panic! fan like me. But if your not, then have the time of your life and you will never forget it. (I also recommend getting to the venue if you want to get merch and in your size haha.) Below are some pictures I took of Brendon during the concert.
