Taylor Swift Concert 7/21/18

This weekend was one of the best weekends of my life and let me you tell you why… I saw Taylor Swift. Yes, you read that right. I saw Taylor Swift (my idol, for the fourth time may I add and it was magical.)

I got tickets way before when they first went on sale with the portal thing that Taylor had for verified fan tickets. When I got the tickets, it was sooo nerve wracking honestly. It was hell basically. I didn’t know where I wanted to sit so I had my Mom with me looking to see where the best seats were. We eventually picked Section 13 Row 1, Seats 1 and 2 and they were part of the Big Reputation VIP Package. I was so excited I finally get to see Taylor since 2015!

A few months later, we were planning my 21st birthday and sadly, most of my friends were going away (because it’s in August) so my Mom was like “Why don’t you and your friends go to the Taylor concert with you for your birthday?” I was like “Sure!” It sounds like it would be sooo much fun. We got 3 other tickets like 3 rows away and my Mom gave her ticket to my cousin who was also coming to the concert as well.

FYI, tickets for this tour were/are SOOO expensive. It’s actually insane so just be warned and bare in mind if you want to go to on future dates of the reputation tour. After months and months of waiting, it was finally the day. My mom, friends, cousin and I were so excited because my Mom had got a hotel room for all of us cause the last time we got home from Taylor’s concert, we didn’t get home until 3 am because of stadium traffic.

We left with a car service around 12:30pm and my cousin was going to meet us there since she already lives in Jersey and lives an hour away from the stadium. We got to the hotel around 2:30 (if I recall correctly) and the rooms were really nice. We were right across from each other, my Mom had a room and the girls and I had a room as well. We stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn which was like a 3 minute ride from the stadium.

Since I was the only one with a Camila Cabello meet and greet, we had to leave for the stadium early. Check in was between 4:15 and 4:45pm. We got there around 4:00pm and we figured we wouldn’t be seperated for that long since the doors for the stadium didn’t open until 5:00pm.

The only thing was, I had to go to the Bud Light gate, which was like on the opposite of the SAP gate where the floor seats were, which is what my friends and I had. We didn’t have much time to spare so we were literally walking as fast as we can because there was a bunch of security in one area and we were wondering if we wondering if we can go through that area. We were walking around amisly for a while, not really sure where to go. But we eventually found it. I was definitely thankful and all I had to go was show my ID and the woman at the check in desk that was outside, gave me my lanyard and I went to the back of the line.

My friends waited until I went inside. They scanned my ticket early (which was only on the phone for some reason, which I’m still surprised about). I had gotten the light up bracelet before hand as well which was pretty cool. It was around 5:15 when they started letting us actually inside.

We waited a while in line for a while before the line actually started to move. We weren’t allowed our phones in but I put mine in my shorts because I was wearing them that day. I turned the microphone on so I could record the audio of our conversation incase I forgot it. (Side note, it’s all muffled and very low which sucks but oh well.)

When it was finally my turn, I was so nervous yet excited because I finally get to have a conversation with her instead of just a hug and a goodbye. I had met her prior to Fifth Harmony and when she had a signing in NYC a long while back. I said “Hi Camila!” “Hi! What’s your name?” “My name is Zoe, I’ve met you before!” “Oh really? What’s your shirt?” She had asked and I had made a shirt for the concert saying “Why?… Oh? Cause she’s dead!” And on the back I had “Shaking off 20 and feeling 21” “That’s so cute, I love it!” “It’s for my early 21st birthday which is why I have the 21 in the back.” “Happy birthday! Should we take a picture?” “Of course!” And we took this really cute hugging pose and she said “It was so nice meeting you Zoe!” And I was like dying on the inside because she finally knew my name and she wished me happy birthday and just gahhh. I love her so much. I don’t remember what I said afterwards but I was like “You too, I love you Camila!”

I was freaking out as I left and got my stuff and went to go find my friends at my seat. I told them what happened. (Also one of my favorite meet and greet photos besides my one with Taylor haha.)

They were so happy for me and I was freaking out so much. My friends and I weren’t sure where I wasn’t going to sit for the show but then a random security guard came over to us and I was so confused as to why but then he said “You guys are sitting in a lucky row! I’ll come back later and tell you.” And we were surrounding section 13 around the time. We were all looking at each other confused. Before the show started, we were wondering what that was about but he never came back so it was like a mystery to us (LOL.)

So I was like… ok I guess I’m sitting here then haha. I sat with my cousin and of course then I realized that I left my vip lanyards in my bag in the hotel room and I was so sad I forgot them but we had the light up wristbands anyway so it wasn’t that big of a deal. We had all brought poncho’s just incase because it was said to be pouring later that night but during the opening acts, thankfully, it wasn’t raining at the time. Before the opening acts, we went to get merch and stuff and the lines were so long it was insane. We also went to get food because we barely had anything to eat before the concert. Also, I knew that her guitarist, Paul Sidoti walked around before the concert started and before Charli went on, my friend pointed out that there was a guy taking pictures with everyone while we were getting food and stuff like that or something, I don’t really remember. I literally ran to the section he was in and ran past security and I was like omg, a member of the Agency is standing right in front of me.

I was like “Hi, I love you so much! I can’t wait for the show!” And he was like “Thank you so much!” And I asked a girl next to me to take picture of us and it honestly came out really well and I was so happy. I wish I had something for him to sign since I didn’t realize he was giving autographs since he had a sharpie in his hand but oh well. I’ve wanted to meet Paul and/or Amos for the longest time since they are the original members of Taylor’s band and I was so happy everything was so much fun and amazing. He was walking around the left side of the stage in around in between section 3 or 4 or something like that.

My friends and I knew more of Charli XCX’s songs then we thought and she was actually killing it on stage. Camila also killed it but I don’t think my friends liked her that much (which I mean, it’s their opinion and they believed that she was lip syncing. I could be baised and didn’t think she was but being in Fifth Harmony, I wouldn’t be surprised. I would be surprised if she was lip syncing on one of the biggest tours she was opening for but oh well.

Taylor came on about around 8:45pm or so. Just so you know… her entrance was FREAKING LIT. I don’t want to spoil anything for those who haven’t gone yet but you are in for the ride of your life. The only thing that was really freaking annoying was the people walking back and forth CONSTANTLY. By constantly, I mean, throughout the entire concert. It was so freaking annoying and when people were walking by my section they were probably just like “Oh, this is a good view, I’ll just stay here.”

But that was the wrong move for people standing in front of me. I literally tapped a girl on the shoulder so hard because I was so pissed and I was like “Excuse me, I can’t see, can you move?!” In like the rudest way possible on purpose so that she could move. Eventually she did and security was kicking people out if they didn’t belong in their section and at least they were doing their job.

During a random song, I think was during Gorgeous or Love Story or something, a person walked past my cousin and I and we were both dancing and going so hard. A person walked past us and held his hand out and all the sudden, I notice that it was PAPA SWIFT. IT WAS HIM AND I WAS FREAKING OUT. He handed my cousin and I guitar picks and I was like “This tour, I’m meeting Papa Swift and getting picks from him this tour.” AND IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. I literally shoved the pick into my bag before I lost it and was freaking out the whole time. He wore a cute little yellow rain coat as he was walking down the isle where a bunch of other people were walking and other people barely noticed him. My cousin was confused but I was like “THATS PAPA SWIFT. HE JUST GAVE US PICKS. OH MY GOD!”

Also throughout the concert, I was screaming my head off and it was pouring rain. My hair was SOAKED and I was flipping it back and forth and honestly it was so much fun. I don’t know what came over me but when Bad Blood/Should’ve Said No mashup came on, I was screaming the lyrics SOOOO loud and obnoixous and I was literally having the time of my life. A guy that walked past me was like “YAS. You go girl!” And high fived me and my cousin and I couldn’t stop laughing. When Taylor flied over to the first B-Stage during Delicate, she went to sing Dancing With Our Hands Tied acoustic (which was amazing by the way.)

She then started singing her surprise song of the night WHICH WAS FEARLESS. I saw so many people online (twitter and tumblr) and she actually sang it! I was screaming so loud the security guard teasingly said to me “Can you repeat that? I don’t think I heard you.” Then I screamed even louder haha. It was great. And she really did sing in a storm in her best dress, fearless <3.

Also what was really stupid is when people kept walking back and forth, they kept blocking people from walking back to their section because after the first b-stage, she would walk through the crowd with the barricade towarsd the next b-stage and either people didn’t know and they were just walking around. Or people knew and they were trying to get to the b-stage. I didn’t even bother cause like there were so many people already there it was insane. But when they blocked people from walking back and forth, there were people literally on top of me and while Taylor was talking, I turned around and said to the woman behind me “Excuse me, can you move? Your literally on top of me and my cousin.” And she was like “If I could I would.” And then a few moments later she did and I rolled my eyes cause clearly she had enough space to move around. It was hard because it was pouring and everything around you was wet, including people so it was just a mess.

But also during Blank Space, I also went really hard haha. In the section next to me, which was section 12, a girl next to me was really drunk and was dancing up and down the isle and I couldn’t help but laugh. But when she came over to me, we were dancing together and I wish someone got it on camera because it was honestly so funny and fun at the same time, it was great.

Before the concert even ended, my friends tried getting an Uber to get back to our hotel but they couldn’t even access it because the app broke down because 56,000 people were trying to get Uber’s at the same time. Around 10:40pm, the concert ended and we tried to leave as quick as we can so we can get a car ride back to the hotel.

My Mom told us to go in Lot D, where Uber pick up was. But we tried to get an uber sooo many times and nothing was working. There were so many people pushing each other and it was pouring so nothing really helped. I didn’t wear a poncho because I didn’t wear it during the concert so I didn’t think there was any point of it.

We tried getting a ride for TWO… HOURS. We didn’t get back to the hotel until 12:40pm. We had to call the hotel to get a car service and the guy driving said it took him an 1 and 30 minutes just to get to where we were. It was totally inside and we were honestly so tired and standing in the rain for hours on end. It was so unorganized that we were standing in a parking lot for hours. We honestly though of taking a shuffle back to NYC just to get an uber ride back to our hotel.

My Mom definitely regrets not booking a car that would stay there and wait for us till the concert ended so we wouldn’t have to get home (to the hotel) at 1:00am. She felt so bad that we had to wait in the rain, even after the concert, for 2 hours and standing for so many hours before that at the concert. We were soaked and completely drenched. But otherwise, I did get some great pictures EVEN in the rain. It was definitely an experience I’ll never forget but please, get a car in WAY advance if your going by Uber or drive there your self. Definitely get a hotel room though, it is definitely worth it. Also below, are some pictures I took of Taylor during the concert!

(Also by the way, the doors to the stadium open at 5:00pm. Concert starts at 7:00pm right away and Camila’s set ends around 8:30pm. Taylor goes on around 8:40,8:45pm.) Hope you guys enjoy your future rep tour concerts! Just take my advice yall on getting a ride before hand and getting a car service in advance or drive there yourself. Congrats on reading the whole thing! Thanks for reading my blog post! 😀

Also here’s my picture with Paul Sidoti and guitar pick from Papa Swift! 😀

So the big reveal…

I’m finally going to tell my story about meeting Taylor Swift!!! I know, probably what you were expecting from this post but hey… it will be interesting, I promise!

So this is the story of how I met my idol, Taylor Swift. I remember exactly how it all went down and I feel like it was yesterday, I remember it that precisely. On October 28th, 2017, I got a DM on Twitter from Taylor Nation… Taylor’s management team. I didn’t even read the message yet and I instantly started freaking out about it because I mean… getting a DM from Taylor Nation themselves was a huge deal in itself! A few moments later, while still crying I finally read the message and it said: “Hi! We’ve noticed what a great fan you are and would love to get more information you!” As soon as possible, I sent my information, still freaking out and showing my Mom and texting all my friends like crazy since they know how much of a Swiftie I am.

My Mom then said “Maybe you’ll meet Taylor herself?” and I said “No Mom, that’s ridiculous. I’m not going to get my hopes up!” It was true, I didn’t know what they were going to use with this information I gave them but I was going to have to impatiently wait and see what was going to happen.

Two days later on October 30th, 2017, I got another DM from Taylor Nation saying: “You’re invited to a TOP secret Taylor Swift NOW event on November 13th, 2017 in New York City :). You’ve got 24 hours to let us know if available…” blah blah blah. by this point, I was balling my eyes out. I wasn’t sure if this was something Taylor herself planned or that it would be a secret session even though she had multiple sessions by this point already so I was a little confused but of course, still completely and utterly excited that I was invited to this special event!

As I wait again… even more impatiently for more details… a couple of days before the event, I get another email asking if I want to bring a guest with me. Now that all in itself was a hard thing to do because I wanted to bring a friend with me but it was also during school days so I decided to bring my Mom with me because well… she’s my Mom and has been to every Taylor Swift concert we’ve gone to together since I was 14. (My first one was at Madison Square Garden on the Speak Now World Tour on November 21st, 2011, btw.)

Then the day before November 13th, they send me even more information in another email like where exactly to meet for the event, what to bring and what not to.  They told us to meet at a specific time which was at 5:45pm for us. I thought it was interesting how specific it was but I’ll get to that soon. The email also said “The even will run a few hours so plan to stay with us well into the evening.” Or something along those lines. I honestly didn’t mind that this event was on a Monday because my Mom let me skip school for that day and it was totally worth it.

So fast forward to Monday, November 13th, 2017 and I was freaking out most of the day, not really knowing what the outcome or the expectation was going to be from this event. We left around 3:30ish to go into the city since we live all the way out in Brooklyn but got there quicker than expected. So we waited out the time at a Starbucks a few blocks away. Also forgot to mention, I was wearing the short sleeve I ❤ TS tee shirt from the LWYMMD music video and my Mom had painted my nails black with white letting with each letter on each finger spelling out reputation the night before. It was honestly so cool. I took a picture of it before but I don’t know what happened to it :(. I also wore a Taylor Swift custom picture bag that my Aunt had gotten me a few years prior which was pretty cool.

At the Starbucks, I overheard someone else talking about the event behind us. It was also a Mother and daughter who were invited and going to the even as well. We talked for a while, fangirled about Taylor and what the event might be and she showed me a picture of her and Taylor many years ago and I kept saying “God, I wish that was me.” I honestly couldn’t wait anymore so I begged my Mom if we could go to the meeting place and she said “As long as we walked slow.” (haha.)

There were a bunch of people there already that of course, were also invited to this event as well and I was surprised how may people were actually there. There was a long line of people both inside and out but this place definitely wasn’t where the actual event was going to be taking place. There were people that either worked for Taylor or for DirectTV, either or, that were checking people in. The location we were in almost looked like it was either an empty gallery or an empty warehouse, probably a warehouse more likely.

What was also there was a camera crew and on the other side of the room, there was a door that people were waiting outside and you could see bus shuttles all on the outside. And I was wondering “Where the hell are we going?” We waited on line for a while and checked in with our wristbands. The people ahead of us started heading on the buses. We got blue wristbands and another one that says Taylor Swift NOW on them: below. Also, why they were checking everyone in, they said “Enjoy the screening!” In my head I was like “What was that supposed to mean? What screening?”

IMG_4473.JPG

I was so nervous and excited, I could barely even think straight. We were now at the door, waiting in line to be put on the bus to who knows where. After about what felt like an hour or so, it was around 6:30pm or almost 7, I can’t really remember. We were finally on the bus and I was so excited. I was in the third or fourth row of the bus and the bus was blasting Taylor’s new album at the time, reputation of course. I was so sad I didn’t know most of the words to most of the songs at the time to really sing along besides Ready For It and Look What You Made Me Do. But overall, it was still fun.

There was also a film crew on the bus and they filmed my Taylor bag that I had brought with me but it was never put into the official video of the actual party itself sadly. (The one that they filmed for Taylor Swift NOW on DirectTV.) I was looking at my phone on the maps to see where exactly where we going. We were going past Taylor’s house so the secret session was out of the water. Then eventually, I knew where we were. We were at South Street Seaport where Taylor’s new popup shop was going to be. I was so surprised because out of all the places to go, I wasn’t expecting this to be the place to where we are going.

We were escorted upstairs to the elevator and then the entrance and it honestly felt like it was another world. There was a long ass hallway with lights and pictures of Taylor and it was incredible. Once you entered where the event would be, it felt like another world, literally. It was absolutely insane. Staff members greeted you and checked you in and there was this big white piano that was covered in flowers and looked really pretty and gorgeous (teehee) and there was a sign behind it that said “You’re gorgeous” and wall with a neon heart and flowers. The whole place was very instagramable haha. 23517659_10214215726203051_7955799174914685534_n.jpgIMG_4477.JPG

IMG_4472.JPG

The further you walked in, it was a huge room that was completely decorated from head to toe and I was incredibly amazed. There was video screens playing DirectTV Now videos are playing and they have all of Taylor’s costumes from the Look What You Made Me Do video as well as the throne! I was amazed they had that there and I actually got to sit on it! It was amazing haha.

There was also a bar there that had specialized drinks for reputation. I don’t really remember what they were but I remember them having really cute and catchy names related to the songs. There was also a cookie dough bar where you can make your own edible cookie dough station and they had so many different toppings it was so overwhelming. I had like five cups of it because it was so good and I was so nervous (omg haha.)

There was also a place to take gifs with your friends and stuff with balloons and confetti. I took a glance at it but wasn’t fully aware of what it actually was. There was a bunch of white couches laid out across the whole floor. There were also big screens that stretched out in the corner of the room. IMG_4475.JPGIMG_4476.JPG

There was also all types of mini food that you could think of. They had the tiniest lobster rolls and the tiniest chicken kabab and everything you could possibly think of and I couldn’t get over the cuteness. Around 8:30ish or so, video started playing on the giant screen in front of us. When the video started playing everyone started freaking out but started to calm down when we realized it was video we’ve seen before… they played videos from the secret sessions and making of a song behind the scenes. There was like one or two clips we haven’t seen before which was pretty cool, like I Did Something Bad and another song I can’t really remember.

Then all the sudden it cuts off. Everyone looks either confused (like me) and on the inside I was freaking out. Then it felt like time freezed when Taylor walked in from almost out of nowhere. I was crying and screaming I was basically almost about to faint when she walked into the room. I only have a little clip of the speech she made because I was so hyped and nervous that she was literally a few feet away from me!

When she mentioned that she was going to say to all of us (which I would say is about 250 people that were there at the party/event) I literally lost it. After loving my idol for 8, almost 9 years now… I was finally going to meet my idol for the first time ever and got to tell her how much I loved her in person! I have picture evidence of my state when she announced it. I literally dropped to the floor. I was like that for a good fifteen minutes. And my Mom took this embarrassing photo of me crying my eyes out after finding out I was meeting Taylor. I literally almost had a heart attack and you could tell everyone around me pretty much had the same reaction haha. 23472960_10214215897407331_505976746350220373_n.jpgIMG_4479.JPG

Since there were so many of us at the event itself, each group that had their own separate time of going there, had different colored wristbands. There was green, red, black, silver or something like that and blue. I would be in the last group to meet Taylor and seeing everyones reactions when they came out of the meet and greet, that’s how I was going to be in just a few moments!

The lines actually didn’t go as quick as I thought they would. Every person almost had at least 5 minutes with her since they were going in by twos! Which made a lot of sense but the fact that I would have that much time with her made me freak out so much more! About what felt like FOREVER, even though it was probably an hour or so, I finally got into the line.

I had written a letter to her and I was hoping to give it to her personally but security wouldn’t let me and they wouldn’t let us have our phones or bags on us, which was reasonable and is mostly the policy for every meet and greet. We were talking to some people in line but it still didn’t calm my nerves especially when we were waiting in line, I could hear her voice just a few feet away! And that alone made me cry (lol.) I was shaking like crazy, I was so nervous. I couldn’t tell her everything I’ve ever wanted too but hopefully she got the letter I gave to her and she was able to read it. (Still not sure if she ever got it or not. And I couldn’t show her my bag either) but at this point I really didn’t care because I was meeting my idol after so many years.

And then finally…. *takes big breath* it was our turn. When the curtains open, she was standing there so beautiful and so very tall. I was fangirling on the inside when I saw the curls in her hair because I’ve always loved her curls and I was so happy she was wearing her hair somewhat wavy with little curls in between. She had like a cheetah print sweat that was in black and white and I didn’t get to see what pants or shoes she was wearing because I honestly love her style and I wish it was in my wardrobe but she was standing right in front of me! I couldn’t believe it!

She said “Hi! It’s so nice to meet you!” and I said, nervously of course, “Hi Taylor!!! I love you so much!” Though I was barely audible since I could barely speak in that moment of time. It was still all so surreal to me, it was insane. And we hugged and on the inside I died, I never wanted to let go. Then she hugged my Mom. My Mom spoke for me which I was so grateful for because I was so shy and nervous which I really regret but hopefully we’ll be able to meet again in the future and I’ll be able to say more!

“She’s been a an for so long, we’ve gone to many of your concerts.” My Mom said to her and she went “Awww that’s amazing!” and then all I could say was “My mom did my nails for me.” I wanted to show her my nails and not forget that I only did them for this reason and I had to borrow my friends nail polish to use them. She then looked down at my hands AND HELD THEM IN HERS. SHE HELD MY OWN FREAKING HANDS IN HERS. I WAS STILL FLIPPING OUT BY THAT POINT ON THE INSIDE.

“It’s reputation, black and white like your album.” I was shaking the whole time and couldn’t control my nerves. I really wanted to cry right then and there because I had just hugged her and SHE HELD MY HANDS. thEN SHE SAID “Oh my gosh, that’s so awesome!! I love them so much! Let’s take a picture!” I thanked her and gave her another quick hug before taking the picture. And I was trying so hard not to cry again haha. Before it was time to leave, my Mom said “Thank you Taylor, for everything.” And she literally took the words out of my mouth because I’ve been wanting to say that to her for all these years.

“No thank you for everything! It was so nice meeting you!” Then we said our goodbyes and she hugged my Mom again and me FOR THE THIRD TIME. I never wanted to let go, believe me. She gives the best hugs and she smelled amazing of course! (<3)

Then we collected our stuff and when we back out to where the party was, I literally fell to the floor… SOBBING. I wish there was video of that so I could show everyone’s reactions to it. I was balling my eyes out. Like, I never cried that much in my life. I gave myself a few moments to recover since there was a film crew getting everyone’s reaction though I wasn’t in the video that was on Taylor Swift NOW, my Mom was telling them how much of a fan I was and how sweet Taylor was for doing everything and all that.

We didn’t know what to do after that because I was still in shock and everything from the events that had happened. I was still crying but wasn’t as bad as I was before and surprised I still had tears left. The party, seemed to be going on forever so me and my Mom started to head home since it was around 11:30, almost midnight. But what I found out later online was that Taylor’s parents were there and I was so disappointed because even though I’ve met Scott once before at a concert, I’ve always wanted to meet them, especially Andrea aka, Mama Swift and tell her how awesome she is for raising such an awesome, humble, kind human being that is Taylor.

But hopefully one day in the future, I’ll get to thank her parents for everything as well and how happy they make everyone and me in the swiftie fandom…

Frozen on Broadway

Hey guys so on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018, I saw Frozen on Broadway during the opening night! I’ve always wanted to go to the opening night of a show just to see what it was like. Of course during the first show, they have more energy and everyone is buzzing since it’s everyone’s first day.

I was expecting it to be different from the movie but I wasn’t expecting so many scenes to be that different from the movie. I mean, the show itself was amazing. It was definitely more adultish then kid friendly and definitely wasn’t a rate G play. This play was definitely a PG-13 sort of play, which was definitely one of the most surprising parts of them all.

There are some factors that I did and did not like about the play. I’ll talk about the good one first because the good ones were amazing. What I loved the most about this play was the production, the costume designs (because they looked almost exact to the movie), the special affects and some other things that I don’t want to say because it would spoil it too much. Also some of the scenes themselves we’re almost exactly the same as the movie such as Let It Go, Do You Wanna Build A Snowman (even though the words were changed a little), In Summer, Reindeers Are Better Than People and For the First Time In Forever.

As you know for plays, they’re are many more songs added to it to make it longer and more entertaining. But there were some songs that were definitely… interesting to say the least.

There was one particular scene that made me very confused. When Oaken’s family comes out of the sauna after the first song they sang, the second one, they were practically naked with branches covering their… parts. Even though they were somewhat covered, you could still see that they were practically naked, which in my opinion, isn’t very child friendly. Though, I’m definitely not a parent myself, I just didn’t think it was very appropriate for a child even though it was just one scene though to me… it was quite funny.

There was another song that was specifically made for Frozen called Monster, that is sung by Elsa. I liked the song at first but then it mentioned something about death and suicide like what Arendelle would be without Elsa being the monster that she is and she called out to her Mother and Father that died, asking for help for what she should do.

Sorry if this is out of order but this is what I’m remembering from the play since I didn’t write it down even though I should’ve. Another thing about the play, the trolls that take care of Spen and Kristoff, they weren’t really trolls. They were part animal part human and they didn’t go to them immediately after Elsa struck Anna in the movie. They had to call them with this strange chant, I guess, and then they came. They also had tails which was really weird since the trolls were basically disguised as rocks in the movie but I guess they can’t recreate everything from the movie.

Also… Olaf is a puppet and controlled by a man that is all dressed in white. I would recommend seeing this play as long as you are okay with somewhat nudity, the play not being completely like the movie and some scenes being completely different from it as well. (But Let It Go was definitely the best part. The girl playing Elsa really played it off and did it really well.) Anyways, tell me you’re favorite Frozen song and whose your favorite character?

Meeting Camila Cabello 1/13/17

So this was a big deal for me since the last time I met Camila was back on the Reflection Tour with Fifth Harmony back in 2017. I found out about this signing literally last minute and I was so happy I was able to go since I don’t have school until March so it gave me something fun to do in the mean time.

We had to go by wristbands the day before, with the CD so she could sign the booklet the next day. I was nervous about how many they were selling and I know they’re were going to be a lot of fans there that day and the next so I wanted to leave my house super early so I could have a chance to get a wristband. The store, Sony Square NYC, opened at 10. So I took the 6:40 bus from Brooklyn all the way to the city. Where I live, it took at least an hour to get there.

So I got to the city itself around 7:30, 7:40. I decided to go to Starbucks before hand since it was only a couple of blocks away from the place where I had to go. I also knew that I was going to be waiting in line for a few hours so I wanted to get something to eat and drink as I waited in line for at least 3 hours.

Thankfully, it wasn’t freezing. It was just really warm and rainy out. They were on time with the sales of the CD because everyone in line was able to get a CD and wristband. I wasn’t in the front of the line but I wasn’t in the back of the line which was good either way because I knew I had at least a shot at getting a wristband/CD. I was just nervous about how many they were selling which was one of the reasons why I showed up early. But I found out that they were only selling 500 wristbands. Which isn’t a lot but it isn’t a little either.

It was a quick purchase but it literally felt like forever because of the rain and how warm it was because I was literally sweating in a crowd of people. But then I went right home afterwards because I was exhausted and I wanted to get home and rest up for the big day tomorrow.

Now the next day, that’s a whole different story. It was absolutely FREEZING. I was glad I brought a blanket because that day, I really needed it. I brought it yesterday while listening to Camila’s album but thankfully, I didn’t need it then. But I was glad I brought it because my teeth were chattering the whole time. I left my house around the same time and what sucked today was that the buses from where I live to that location, only run every hour so I had to time it right so I wouldn’t show up too late and wouldn’t show up too early either.

Though with my luck, I showed up early and went to Starbucks. I got to the line around 8:30. Though yesterday they (security) told us to start lining up around 10 so people wouldn’t have to wait in the rain and the cold. But of course no one was going to listen and people lined up just as early as they did the day before. Some people were there at 6am which I thought was ridiculous. I don’t get how people sleepover night just for an event, I think it’s insane to do so. Just wake up and leave your house early, it’s that simple. But I guess you can’t stop people from doing what they want to do I guess haha.

But today, it felt like it was definitely less than 37 degrees. It was horrible. My teeth were chattering and nobody could feel anything because it was so cold. We waited, and other people, had waited three plus hours until it hit around 11 o’clock, which was when the signing was supposed to start. Camila showed up around 11:15 when she walked through the building and we were able to see her through the windows as she waved at us and was going to where the signing was.

Everyone (including me) was freaking out by that point because we were so excited that the signing was going to start and we all needed warmth because it was so freaking cold. The signing itself didn’t start until 11:30 and they told us to have our booklets ready for Camila to the sign. I was nervous because I knew it was going to be quick so I had to make sure that I knew what I was going to say to her and I was nervous because I didn’t want to make a fool out of myself.

When we were finally inside, I was thanking god for the warmth and was happy to be inside. There was security everywhere and they wouldn’t allow us to have phones so I shoved mine my jacket pocket but had video recording on with my camera poking out slightly. When it was finally my turn, all I was able to say was: “Hi Camila! I love you so much, can I have a hug?” And she said “I love you too and of course!” and I slightly died and I handed her my letter that I wrote to her and it all didn’t happen in that order but I was so happy I really didn’t care!

I love her so much and below is the short video of that happening! 😀 ❤ It was literally the best 6 seconds of 2018 for me, at least, so far!

Just make sure when your going to one of her album signings or a meet and greet, just beware how short it is and to make sure you know what you’re going to say before you go up to her! My only advice is to also place your phone in your phone pocket and make sure it’s recording video a voice memo! That is literally the only thing I can warn you in advance about for future references!

Have you met Camila while she was in 5H or solo on the street somewhere? (If you are, you’re really lucky because you probably got more time than I did! haha) She was part of my first meet and greet ever with Fifth Harmony back in 2014 and to meet her again for a third time is amazing. I didn’t want to say I met her back in 5H two other times because I thought it would be really awkward :/ haha. Tell me in the comments below your signing experiences if you have any! 🙂

Ringing In The New Year!

Hi guys! Happy new year everyone! One of my goals/resolutions for this year is to start writing in my blog more! Last year was definitely amazing, especially since I FINALLY, met my idol: Taylor Swift! My experience will definitely be in a different post after this one! Also to start the new year right, I went to MTV’s TRL for the very first time yesterday! It was a blast and even though I didn’t know the people that were there, it was still fun especially since I got to be on TV again haha. (Yes I’ve spotted myself on TV multiple times being on different shows that I’ve gone too.)

I’m making this post short and sweet since I have other content to write for you guys sooo soon! Also for the new year, I’ve decided to take care of myself more and keep up with my daily reminders and other things to keep as a daily notice is in my new Bullet Journal. It has seemed that it is a new trend these days and I can see why. It’s very addicting and especially helpful for those who don’t remember stuff as well as others, like me, and to always keep reminders and appointments and class schedules and goals as well as a bucket list and some other fun things that you can add in there. I’ve just started making mine and it really helps! Definitely recommend making one for the new year!

Anyways, I hoped everyone has had an amazing Christmas, Hanukkah, New Years, or whatever it is you celebrate and keep a look out for new posts because they are bound to come soon! Also guys, don’t forget to connect with me on my twitter: @alrenjaurnandez, instagram: @deltoro.zoe and tumblr: starbuxksluvers.tumblr.com!

See you guys soon!!

Legend – Marie Lu series

Honestly, one of the best series I’ve ever read besides the Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare (which I’m still in the process off because it’s a never ending beautiful series.) But oh my god I picked up Legend a few years ago and never really had the chance to read it. But when I picked up from the bookshelf in my room, I was immediately hooked. Like Cassandra, Marie has a very descriptive way of writing, which I love.

It pulls you into a trance, bring you into it within the first few sentences. That’s what I loved about this series. And usually, I don’t like books, or fanfiction either, where they switch between character’s P.O.V’S every time there is a new chapter. But honestly for this book, I didn’t mind. It really brought me to know each character. From Day, living in the slums of the Lake Sectors to June, living in a beautiful life filled with riches in the Ruby Sector.

Most of these books weren’t cliche, except for a little bit of the 3rd book in the last few pages before the ten year later mark part of the book. God, that last of the book killed me so much. I don’t remember much of the 2nd book honestly, but the 1st and 3rd was definitely my favorites. 3rd mostly in front of the 1st one because it was that good and a really good way to close the series.

I love how she ended it though (No spoilers here, I promise.) It made you wanting more, even though you knew that the ending was just perfect by itself. Like you can kind of figure out what would happen in the future or make it up in your mind. It was very family oriented, which I loved. But being family oriented, made it even more emotional.

If your like me, if it’s a good book and a good writer, you’re going to get attached to the characters quickly. And that’s exactly what happened with me and meeting the characters June and Day and going through an emotional rollercoaster.

Usually books I read, they usually don’t make me cry, especially like if they have an emotional ending. But this time, I actually did shed a few tears. I was so attached to day, I felt his pain and his love for June. God I wish I everyone reading this right now could’ve read the books already just so I can pour my heart and soul out onto this page just like Marie Lu did in her books with her characters.

I definitely recommend this series by Marie Lu called Legend. It is absolutely incredible and will keep you wanting more. The suspense, thriller and chill of emotion will absolutely make you want to read each book in a days time because it’s honestly that good. I can’t read that much in one day, but I read each book within three weeks. One week for Legend, the other for Prodigy and the last for Champion.

Now I’m going back to Cassandra Clare’s series before then going back to Sarah J. Maas’s Throne of Glass series… God I have so much to read but I’m not complaining because I love reading so much. One of my favorite past times and hobbies. Have you read one of Marie Lu’s books or series? (Also have to catch up with the Young Elites by her as well since her writing is incredible.) If so, which one is your favorite? Are you’re reading a book right now? If so again, leave it in the comments below and maybe give your suggestions on what I and other people reading this blog should read that all of us might enjoy!

BTW, Did I mention this was one of the best series I’ve ever read? I think I have… oh well. (Ha ha.) Bye for now!

R5 pre-album release show in NYC 4/27/17

So I was SO excited to find out that R5 was coming back to NYC and their first show back after a few months, almost a year. So I immediately bought tickets and was going to buy meet and greets and saw that they were sold out and I was very disappointed. (I also didn’t mind since I had met them two times before.) But then I realized that only the pre-sale meet and greet’s were sold out. So during the regular sale, I immediately got them and I was so happy they were surprisingly cheap considering the previous time I spent on a meet and greet it was a lot more than $135 dollars. I also got one for me at $130 instead of the original price $150 because I had a fan account on their website and it apparently gave me a discount!

So it was the day of the concert and I had left school early since check in was at 4:3pm that day. I left my house around 2:30 and got there around 3:30ish. There was already a line in front and people said in line that it wrapped around the corner and they weren’t kidding. But it was fine though since I had gotten the upper deck seating with my Aunt. It’s an upgrade you have to buy at that specific theater since they have side seating closer to the stage.

Anyways… It said in the email that either Mark (their Dad) or Andre, (their tour manager) But it was cool that both of them came over. It was also Andre’s birthday apparently which was pretty cool. My they said my Aunt could stay with me since I said she was my guardian so that was nice of them. Around 5 o’clock or so they let us into the venue and the rest of the GA people had to stay outside. (Since they’ve been there for who knows how long, I kind of felt bad haha.)

First was the meet and greet before the pre-album listening party. I was kind of in the middle towards the back of the meet and greet line. And we also had a pretty decent amount of time with them for once since there weren’t too many people and they didn’t have a show to go to the next day so it moved pretty slowly but to me, that was a good thing. Though I was getting pretty nervous, even though this would be my third time meeting them. Haha, I know I sound ridiculous but wouldn’t you be too if you met one of your favorite bands?

So it was eventually my turn to meet them and I asked my Aunt to record me meeting them because what I love about R5’s meet and greets is that they don’t mind you recording videos while meeting them and taking pictures and having other people in the room with you besides yourself. Rydel was standing by the doorway of the room that we were in (as people waited outside behind me. We also in the downstairs part of the theater which is mostly used for VIP’s and meet and greet stuff.)  She was wearing a pink wig and a really cool fluffy fur coat. I said “Hi! How are you?” And she replied with “good! It’s lovely to meet you!” then I hugged Ellington then Ross (and he rubbed my back and I didn’t even notice it until I re-watched the video of me meeting them.)

Then I hugged Rocky (who smelled so good by the way) and Riker who was wearing this handsome looking blazer, he looked really dressed up haha. I asked if we can take a selfie and they said sure! Riker touched my phone (for the second time since when I met them for the first time, I also got a selfie with him haha but just him individually that time.) I accidentally stepped on Ross’s foot and I felt so bad since it was a tight squeeze but he didn’t seem to notice or care but I still felt bad (whoopsie lol.)

Then I waved by to them and got to hug Ross, Ellington and Rydel again and it was so awesome. I then went to my seats while people went to the GA area. This venue had both seats and GA so I got seats instead of GA since there was a lot of people already on the floor and I am too short so it was definitely a better choice. Around 30 mins later they came back on stage and they all said they were all excited for us to hear the album. Riker said he just wanted us to “groove” to the songs and then rock out to them later when they played them live. He also said to put all cellphones away so that we wouldn’t leak any of the songs (which we all did respectfully, thankfully haha. There wasn’t any drama or crying lol.)

They said something after each song but I forgot what but Riker said that Red Velvet had a rap with a feature. But I don’t remember him saying who it was but they all joked about it being DJ Kaled haha. But the songs were so freaking awesome. Then they left and we got to stay in the venue, thank god. Also below is my meet and greet with R5, the video, the selfie and the professional photo.

18157834_1324884564271963_2627480345453736468_n.jpg

After that, Ryland came on from exactly 8:00pm to 8:30 and my god, I’ve seen him live before but damn, he was so hype. I guess it was cause they haven’t done shows in a while. Ryland’s set was so insane. There are speakers and equipement that went really high and he actually climbed up them and jumped off of them! It was really dangerous and he said “I’m probably going to get in trouble for this.” Which he probably did afterwards since he was sooo crazy.

He also stood up on his DJ table and was going to do a backflip like he usually does during R5’s shows. But this time it was actually only a table so he just stood up on it. It was so lit and the crowd was so into it since he always up to date on popular songs that almost everyone knows and loves. Below are videos of Ryland’s lit and insane set:

R5 went on around nine o’clock or nine ten, I don’t really remember. They put on an amazing show as always. They sang some old ‘classics’ of theirs like Easy Love, I Can’t Forget About You, Did You Have Your Fun, F.E.E.L G.O.O.D., Dark Side and Smile. But they sang most of the songs from their newly released EP New Addictions including Red Velvet, Lay Your Head Down and Need You Tonight. They didn’t play Trading Time which was a little confusing since they sang everything else but I guess they didn’t have enough songs in the setlist to put everything in or they just didn’t want to sing it. I don’t know why but that’s their decision not mine or ours haha.

One of my favorite moments of the night was when they performed Lay Your Head Down because it was Rocky’s moment and time to shine. He played on the keyboard and sang his heart out. It was such a catchy tune and my favorite part at the end everyone was shouting “Rocky! Rocky! Rocky!” And he had the biggest smile on his face and it was truly an amazing thing to witness as they performed this song for the first time.

Below are some videos and pictures I took during the concert! Have you ever been to an R5 concert? What’s your favorite R5 song and whose your favorite member? (Mine is Riker haha <3)

Meeting Cimorelli (Pizza with Cimorelli hangout) 4/2/17

So when I found that Cimorelli was finally coming back to NYC, I had to go where ever it is they were going or doing (not in a stalker way, but I just really wanted to meet them). Then they announced they were doing a pizza hangout in NYC so I basically beg my parents and Grandmother to let me go and eventually said yes and it was definitely worth it. (Especially since I hung out with each girl for 20-30 minutes each for an hour and a half.) When I got the location two days before, I was so happy it was in Park Slope because it was literally twenty minutes away from my house.

My Dad was the one that took me by train and I was one of the first girls there since there were only fifteen people invited to this hang-out (for those who got tickets) and the pizzeria was tiny, but it was also cute. It was called Sweet Basil Pizzeria and Katherine told us that a fan’s parents owned the shop and told them to come there when they came to New York (and they actually have pretty good pizza.) 🙂 So that was pretty cool to hear.

The girls arrived around 12:10ish or so. I got a video of them entering and then my Dad left me alone and Christina told Mike (I was fangirling on the inside since she was legit standing two feet away from me), who is there older brother, (since there family was there with them as well) to go in order based on who purchased first or something like that and assign two or three people to each girl. I was told to go with Katherine and I was really excited since she would be the first Cimorelli girl I would be meeting.

What Christina told us as she came over towards Katherine and us, she said that we would be staying in our seats while the girls rotate which I thought was pretty cool. We also got extra time with the girls since they came a little late which was a pretty cool thing. I also had gotten an autograph book for them to sign so I can have their autographs so having that at the end was pretty cool.

I’m not going to explain everything we talked about with each girl because I don’t remember most of it but I could explain some of it in like simple terms. I was fangirling so much on the inside being able to finally talk to these girls in person instead of watching them on a computer screen since 2013 and not being able to talk to them. (lol)

Katherine was just talking to us about random things and about NYC and I asked what she liked the most about NYC but I kind of forgot what she replied to me with… whoops. She was so sweet and caring and tried to remember all of our names. There was me, a girl who was in high school but didn’t look like it cause she seemed older (even though she was really shy) and a girl with her Mom. I was basically one of the older ones besides Katherine at our table of course. And she was surprised when I told her I was 19 (since I don’t look that age at all) and that my birthday is near Lauren’s (which I already knew but still love the fact that we are only a year apart)

Then Christina shouted “Selfie time!” and we all got to take hugs and selfies with Katherine and she said “It was so nice to meet you!” (Me and Katherine below) 🙂17626553_1298810830212670_8200199453124948947_n.jpg

Then the next girls we met were Dani and Lauren. They were a team since they didn’t have that many tables at the pizzeria or they just wanted to meet fans together but either way it was adorable. Dani and Lauren went straight to eating pizza and it was so funny. I was going to ask Dani a question but for some reason I was so nervous but at least I got her to finally follow me on twitter. (I’ve been waiting for a Dani follow for sooooo long. All the other girls, and the band account, followed me on twitter except for Dani and Amy.) Lauren also told us that this was her first time eating pizza in a month (because she’s lactose intolerant apparently, which I didn’t even know) so she was very happy as she was eating her pizza. I think Dani was already on her third slice and it wasn’t even half way into the conversation haha. (But seriously, me though)

Dani asked us if we were working or in school. I told her I was in college and that I had just gotten a job at the NY Aquarium (since now its my first official paid job… yay!) and she was freaking out because she loves aquariums but hasn’t been to one in like, 6 years. At least that’s what she told me. I should’ve told her to come there just so I could see her and she could see the fish haha. Then Christina then shouted, “Selfies!” again after 15-20 minutes with Lauren and Dani and we took selfies together. Lauren is such an angel and she gives the best hugs <3.

17634610_1298810876879332_1881496116659210616_n.jpg

Then after that, I was freaking out when Lisa started coming over. Lisa is my absolute queen and goddess and (secretly my favorite Cimorelli sister but don’t tell anyone I said that… haha) She was wearing her bright orange sweater and her hair looked so much cooler in person then it does through a screen. We basically talked mostly about the weather (cheesy, I know… she even said that) and her hair.

I asked her if she thought about changing hair colors again (since currently it was blonde and short and before in a recent video it was pink.) She thought about going back to pink or maybe even another color but she wasn’t sure yet. She told us that if you ever thought about cutting your hair short, you have to be really committed to it. It’s really easy to handle but you have to not question it at all to do it or else you would regret it. But obviously, she doesn’t regret it one bit and she looks amazing.

Then I finally got to hug and take a picture with my Queen and here it is below: (Also make-up on point.) Also this was the best selfie that I took with the girls because I was so nervous haha but with Lisa I was so chill but fangirling on the inside soooo much haha.

17499245_1298810883545998_2154074752233368234_n.jpg

Then we met Amy and she was telling us about volunteering and how it changed her life. She said “You guys don’t mind if I talk about myself right? You can interrupt me at any point to ask questions or anything like that.” She said and I laughed, shaking my head because it was just so freaking cool to see these girls in person I really didn’t care what we talked about since I was just having a casual hang out that I will probably remember for the rest of my life. Also Amy is basically the same height as me which is pretty funny but I always knew that because she’s the smallest Cimorelli but short people are awesome so 🙂17757204_1298810893545997_5818500933599640420_n.jpg

Then the last person we met Christina and honestly she is the most inspirational person ever. She just made my day a thousand times better. She us to step out of our boundries since two out of three of us were shy, though I wasn’t as much as the girl sitting next to me, but she definitely made my day and even brightened up even more (because I was already meeting Cimorelli haha.) And she told us to buy their book (since they were actually selling merch which I didn’t realize until the end LOL), But it actually is inspirational and already read ten pages of it. Also below: here is a pic with me and Christina. 🙂543036_1298810880212665_3667850179689277203_n.jpgAlso a pic of all my autographs ❤17634322_1298938236866596_3713262457174384610_n.jpg

Also besides their book I got a really cool tee shirt and it was like $30 bucks in total including the book I think which was really cool. But if you ever have the chance to meet Cimorelli, I totally recommend doing it because they are the sweetest things and they are so nice and inspirational and just make your day a thousand times better. 🙂

If Cimorelli is reading this… PLEASE COME DO A SHOW IN NYC! I need to see you girls live! (haha) ❤ Love you guys and check out some more of my posts!

Panic! At the Disco concert 3/2/2017 MSG

Well, to say this concert was a blast was an understatement. I absolutely had the time of my life last night. Though I haven’t been a fan of this band for that long, I knew every single word to every song they sang. I’ve been a fan of theirs for almost a year now and I’m so glad I got into their music because Brendon Urie (lead singer) is fucking amazing. I never danced so hard in my life and I almost lost my voice but I’m still good haha.

I got there a little bit before six and the merch line was soooo long. It was almost as long as when it was for Shawn Mendes. They let us in before six since the concert was sold out and they wanted to get people in and out as quickly as they could. I got merch on the second floor of the venue and even that line was long. Definitely wasn’t much longer as it was downstairs but I still got what I wanted (a black Panic! sweater and a tee shirt) and I’m still wearing those today as a matter of fact haha.) The sweater is so comfy and I definitely recommend getting one of them because it’s one of my favorite things I’ve ever owned.

Saint Motel went on at exactly at 7:00 which I was pretty surprised. (I was also surprised by how close I was because I didn’t think I would be that close to the one and only Brendon Urie for my first concert of his.) A little bit after their set, people started screaming towards one of the sections but then I realized later in the concert it was Noah from the Netflix original show, Stranger Things. He even sang with Brendon during La Devotee later in the set, it was so cute. They gave him a gold microphone like his and everything, it was adorable.

Misterwives came on around a little bit before 8ish. I’ve heard of their band before but never saw them live and I have to say, I was impressed. I would probably see them again live if they had their own concert in New York City. I mostly took pictures of the lead singer, Mandy Lee, because she was pretty awesome to take photos of. It was almost like I did a mini photoshoot of her without her even looking. Here are some of my favorite pics below:

Once their set was over, they started setting up for Panic’s! And I didn’t realize how big their stage set up was. They had a ten minute countdown and everyone was freaking out. (Including me of course) Their first song was Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time from their new album and I absolutely love that song so I didn’t get that much video of it since I was freaking out during that song.

In my opinion, I feel you have to know all the words to all of the songs Panic! At the Disco sing or else you wouldn’t have that much of a good time as me and thousands of other people will. Because I knew all of the songs they were singing, after almost every song I was like “This is my song!” then the next song plays and then I went “This is my song too!” (lol) Brendon really didn’t talk much during the set and pretty much went straight through with playing which I didn’t mind because I love when people just play through song after song after song.

One of my favorite parts of the concert was (Miss Jackson, Let’s Kill Tonight, Girls/Girls/Boys, Bohemian Rhapsody, I Write Sins Not Tragedies, Victorious… etc etc) was This Is Gospel when he went onto the B-Stage. The only thing annoying was that everyone behind me started standing up on their chairs (which usually isn’t allowed) but I said f-it I’m doing it anyway. So for the first time in my life, I actually stood on my chair during a concert and I felt like such a rebel haha. Nobody could stop us because everyone on the floor was doing the exact same thing and to ask people to do it during a very popular Panic! song which just get people mad to security probably decided to let it go during that song. Also, when he was walking towards the B-Stage, I couldn’t even see him and had no idea where he was but he probably went underneath the stage to go to it and walked back towards the main stage through the crowd. At my concert, he walked in the middle of seconds B and C (I was in C but on the other end of the isle so I couldn’t get a hug 😦  .) But I still got actually got pretty decent video so that’s this video below:

One of my other favorite parts of the concert was when Brendon did a drum solo to 24k Magic by Bruno Mars and Bitch Better Have My Money by Rihanna, it was pretty epic.

Brendon also did a cover of Billy Joel’s song Movin’ Out, which was actually pretty good in my opinion. Another one of my all time favorite parts was finally seeing them cover Bohemian Rhapsody live. I actually got a pretty decent video of it but my arms were so tired by that point, it got a little shaky but it was still pretty good. After seeing so many videos on youtube of them covering that song (since it’s my favorite thing ever), I was so happy when I finally got to see it live. When they first started singing the first note of it, everyone in the audience started going nuts. Here’s the video if it below:

And near the end of the concert, they sang I Write Sins Not Tragedies and Victorious. What made me die of laughter was when Brendon said (as he was introducing IWSNT), he said “This is a new one, I hope you like it.” But then the first notes of the song start to play and everyone started singing along. My Aunt was so confused but afterwards I told her it was just a joke because it’s from their first album and absolutely everyone knows that song. What made it even funnier to me was that I was watching a video of them singing that song live on Youtube and Brendon said the exact same thing in that video. And he let the crowd sing part of the beginning of the song and since he’s so sick of the song, he let’s everyone sing “But the poor grooms bride is a whore!” Then he said “You said it not me.” I was laughing and screaming at the same time because I thought it was the funniest thing ever.

I was said when Victorious started playing because it was the last song and I didn’t want the night to end. Brendon hit that high note of course and I sort of fangirled when he held his hands together because he does it all the time because it’s like a fifteen second high note or something like that. His high notes blew me away last night and they were even higher than my grades (haha…. joke of the year). I’m still listening to Panic! At the Disco the next day because I always want to remember that concert and how amazing, loud and fun it was. I would definitely recommend going to one of their concerts but just make sure you know all the words to the songs first, especially if your a new Panic! fan like me. But if your not, then have the time of your life and you will never forget it. (I also recommend getting to the venue if you want to get merch and in your size haha.) Below are some pictures I took of Brendon during the concert.

Ariana Grande – Dangerous Woman Tour NYC 2/23/17 ft. Victoria Monet and Little Mix

Hi guys! I know I haven’t written a blog in a while but that’s because I haven’t been going to concerts in a while. Crazy, I know. But 2 days ago, I saw my Queen, Ariana Grande live for the third time in a row. I had floor seats so I was super excited. This time I did a little something different from traveling there… by taking the train. Though I usually take the cab to the city with my Aunt, it was much easier and honestly quicker especially since we always leave during rush hour and in New York City, it is basically the worst time to travel, especially on a Thursday.

We arrived at the venue around 6:30 and everyone was being let in at this point since the concert was starting at 7:30 so everyone had time to get to their seats. I didn’t have VIP, sadly, (but hopefully next time I will <3) but the line for merchandise wasn’t that bad when we got there. Usually the people who run concessions at MSG are very fast and consistent, which is one of the reasons I love going there so I got two tee shirts in a matter of ten minutes. I got a Little Mix tee shirt and Ariana Grande tee shirt and just to let you know, Ariana’s tee shirts and sweaters are soooo expensive. I love Ariana, but I am not spending $75 dollars on a sweater when it is almost spring time.

I met up with a friend, who I know through another friend, that I didn’t even know was a fan of Ariana’s so we talked for the time being which made waiting less painful. I got to my seats around 7:00ish and this was my view:

It honestly wasn’t that bad until after the first act where two tall people sat in front of me and an extremely tall person stood in front of my Aunt. Then, the row in front of them, there was extremely tall Mom and her two children later on during the show. I prayed she would sit down during Ariana and I even asked nicely but she said something about her kids, making me roll my eyes since they were pretty tall themselves and they were able to see just fine without standing on chairs… which isn’t even allowed and I was surprised none of the security guards even bothered to ask the woman to let her kids down so that people behind them could see. What was even worse and obnoxious of them to do was that they were all huddled together when they could see Ariana perfectly which I couldn’t so that was really annoying.

Around 7:40 Victoria Monet came on and I was one of the few people that heard of her before because she opened up for Fifth Harmony last summer and I even met her. She performed a couple of songs and she honestly reminded me of a mini Beyonce. Here are some pictures I took during her set.

Then around 8:20ish? I’m not really sure, I don’t really remember the times, Little Mix came on. And if your a big of a Mixer as I am, then you would be fangirling the whole time Little Mix was on their set. I saw them almost three years ago, this coming March, when they opened for Demi Lovato in 2014 and that was the first and only time I ever saw them. I fangirled so much during their set, I was almost out of it before Ariana came on and that says a lot haha. Here are some pics and videos I took during Little Mix’s set <3: (Left to right, Leigh-Anne Pinncock, Jade Thrilwall, Jesy Nelson and Perrie Edwards. 16998150_1261887810571639_1448943568877807247_n.jpg

Around 9:05 is when Ariana come on and I had to say, I was very impressed with her this tour. Her visuals, were incredible and it was definitely a thousand times better than her last tour, the Honeymoon Tour. What I was also really and extremely happy about was that she focused more on her vocals instead of her dancing. Because Ariana is a vocal powerhouse and when she belts out those high notes and whistle tones while she’s dancing, it always affects her singing and usually comes out flat or a little bit messy when she’s finished singing the note. But this time, she almost sounded exactly like her tracks and I was very proud of her for that.

What I also loved during Ariana’s set was the fact that she talked about LGBTQ’s and to be happy and proud of themselves and even had the different colors of people holding hands on the screen during her song Thinking About You. What I loved the most during the concert was the lights visually. They crisscrossed each other and she had the biggest backdrop for moving visuals and it was basically the coolest thing ever. She even stepped it up a notch by having these kind of zebra lights on her but in a blueish, white pattern during Moonlight and other songs and it was pretty freaking cool.

Also during one of her songs, Greedy, she had money confetti falling down from the sky with her face printed on them which was pretty funny. She even said during the middle, near end of the set that she wanted to cry because she loves New York so much and I just wanted to tell her (we love you too Ari!)

I don’t have that many pictures of Ari liked I had liked to but I still took a lot of decent video so I could remember my third Ariana Grande concert. Here are some pics below that I took of Ari:

Not my best but usually out of a batch maybe a 100 photos you can take a concert, of course only a few are going to come out good. Which, of course, happened to me but I’m okay with it. I still had an amazing time and it was one of the best concerts I had went to in a while, besides the tall people standing in front of me. Below, I made a vlogish type video of my Ariana concert with some certain goodish clips so you could get a taste of her concert if your still debating whether to go or not. It is definitely worth the money as long as your not a tall person on the floor and go for the lower level, which I strongly suggest especially when your short like me haha.

And here are some clips I took during Little Mix’s set:

I definitely recommend going to one of Ariana’s concerts, she always blows me away, especially Little Mix as well. I hope they get more recognition now that they are touring in the US and see how many people want them here!
